Job Duties: |
1. Assist SO (Tech)/ XEN in vetting preparation of Siting Board Proceedings, Master Plans.
2. Keep SO (Tech)/ XEN informed of all information related to the project assigned. 3. Preparation, scrutinize/ vetting of bill of quantities/ estimates, indication of cost on the basis of MES Schedule of rate/ market rate where necessary. 4. Prepare, scrutinize/ vetting of layout plans, site plans, drawings etc related to Electrical/ Mechanical work/ master plan. |

Qualification/Experience required: |
(i) Post Matric three years Diploma or equivalent in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Technical Institute/ College of Technology. B.Sc. in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering preferable. (ii) Ten years experience in the field of Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering for diploma holders. OR Retired personnel of Corps of Engineers who have qualified equivalent MES departmental examination as prescribed in Schedule-II and have served in M Cadre in MES for five years. |

(i)
Persons possessing higher academic standard/ qualifications shall be
preferred and length of experience (prescribed with minimum
qualification) shall be relaxable in case of higher qualification to
the extent of period required for obtaining such higher qualification.
(ii) The Officers will have to pass the Departmental Examination of
relevant post prescribed in Schedule-II of Recruitment Rules for
retention, during probationary period
